He is a stocky fellow, with short thick legs and the MOST unique set of antlers.
Carving caribous with stone is particularly precarious.
At any moment, one of the fragile legs could snap!
Any artist who takes on such a task, deserves respect.
Aningmiuq passed away in 1986.
Even now his charismatic Caribous are in demand.
The upright tail, the geometric antlers, and the stoic body are some of the features that make Peter’s Caribous so loved.
